Korean Cargo is a bilingual guide to moving freight between Korea, the United States and Europe.
Who publishes it
Korean Cargo is published by Cargovate LLC, a Vexidus Corporation company. Cargovate builds the supply chain and asset lifecycle platform that keeps one record of custody for a shipment, from collection to delivery, across carriers and borders.
How the guide is written
- It explains how the process works and names the authority that decides each question, such as the Korea Customs Service, US Customs and Border Protection or the EU customs authorities.
- It does not state duty rates as current, because they change. Check them at the time you ship.
- It is not legal or customs advice. A licensed customs broker (관세사 in Korea) should confirm anything you rely on.
- The English and Korean versions cover the same material. If they ever disagree, tell us and we will correct both.
